March is Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month

Did you know that colon cancer is the number one PREVENTABLE cancer? It is recommended that at age 50 people start doing regular colonoscopies as part of wellness and screening.

Recommendations may be different for those with a positive family history of colon cancer (positive being mother, father, brother, sister). Most insurance covers screening colonoscopies at 100%.

Please encourage friends and family to schedule their colonoscopy if they are 50+.
