Dr. Best feels that communication is a vital part of the doctor-patient relationship. He takes time with each patient to ensure she has a thorough understanding of her particular problems and needs as well as all of her treatment options.
It is Dr. Best's personal belief that women's health is a collaborative effort. The patient should play an active role in her treatment planning, and she should not feel that the terms of her treatment are dictated to her.
Dr. Best enjoys spending time with his wife, Jessica, and their 3 children. He enjoys cooking and golfing and is an avid LSU Tiger fan. He served as chief of staff of Lane Regional Medical Center in 2015 and is a lifelong member of Broadmoor Baptist Church.
