Katherine Perkins has 15 years of nursing experience. She is dual board certified as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She specializes in child, adolescent and adult psychiatry. She treats patients from 6 years to 65 years of age providing psychiatric evaluations and medication management. She manages mental health disorders including ADHD, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and insomnia.
Katherine graduate Magna Cum Laude from Texas Tech University wtih her Bachelor's of Science degree in Nursing. She earned her Masters of Science in Nursing from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and her Post-Masters of Science in Nursing at McNeese State University.
Prior to joining Lane, Katherine was the owner and CEO of Zachary Psychiatry. "I am passionate about treating my patients with dignity and respect, and I believe that listening to my patient's needs is an essential element in creating their personalized treatment plan".
Katherine enjoys traveling, hiking and spending time with her family.
