Pennie Bozeman, RN, Named February MVP

Pennie Bozeman, RN, Named February MVP

Congratulations to Pennie Bozeman for being selected Lane’s February MVP of the Month!

Pennie is a Registered Nurse and works in ICU/IMC.  Her MVP card was from a patient’s daughter who stated, “ We can’t say enough about Pennie! We  appreciate the care and compassion she showed my family and mother while we were at Lane.”  She credits Pennie with saving her mom’s life.  “Pennie had been my mom’s nurse earlier in the week. When she returned Friday, she had immediate concerns when she saw her; concerns that others may have not followed up on. Pennie just seemed to know that something wasn’t right! She really cared and notified appropriate personnel.”  Ultimately the patient was transferred out due to renal issues. The family felt that without Pennie’s quick response, their mom would not have survived.  “Pennie is a nurse who gets it and does more than just her daily tasks.”

CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL THE FEBRUARY NOMINEES:  Katherine Elkins, RN, Emergency Department; Trynette Ambeau, CNA, Telemetry (1st South); Lacey Landry, CNA, Telemetry (1st South); Letrica Hicks, CNA, Lane Rehabilitation Center ; Holly Walker, RN, ICU/IMC; Kierra Dunn, Patient Access Representative, Emergency Department.
