Lane Regional Medical Center marked a historic milestone on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, with the official ribbon cutting and grand opening of its highly anticipated new tower. The celebratory event drew over 130 dignitaries and community leaders, underscoring the significance of this advancement in healthcare for Zachary and surrounding communities.
The morning ceremony began at 10:30 a.m. at Lane’s Main Street entrance, where Frank Corcoran, CEO, and LJ Baker, Chief Strategic Officer, were joined by members of the Lane Board of Commissioners and representatives of the Zachary Chamber of Commerce for the ribbon cutting. Attendees included Louisiana and U.S. legislators, local mayors, chiefs of police, chamber of commerce representatives, school board officials, other elected leaders, and many others.
“This new tower represents more than just a building — it’s a bold step into the future of healthcare for our region,” said Corcoran. “It reflects our commitment to providing exceptional, state-of-the-art medical services to every patient who walks through our doors.”
The event included a group photo of all attendees and guided tours of the new tower, where guests explored the modern facilities designed to enhance patient care and support growing community needs. Light hors d'oeuvres were served as guests mingled and discussed the exciting possibilities this expansion brings.
