Allyson Bennett, MSN, RN, Named Chief Nursing Officer at Lane Regional Medical Center

ZACHARY, LA – Lane Regional Medical Center is proud to announce the promotion of
Allyson Bennett, MSN, RN, to Chief Nursing Officer (CNO). Allyson succeeds Staci Sullivan,
MSN, PMHCNS-BC, NEA-BC, RNC, who has served as Chief Nursing Officer since 2015. In
her new role, Allyson will provide strategic nursing leadership, oversee clinical operations, and
continue advancing Lane’s commitment to quality, safety, and patient-centered care.

Allyson has been an integral part of Lane’s leadership team for many years, most recently
serving as Chief Quality Officer since February 2025. Prior to that, she was Quality Director,
where she led key initiatives to improve surgical site infection rates, address social determinants
of health, enhance breast cancer awareness, and elevate the hospital’s overall star rating.

“Allyson’s leadership has been instrumental in strengthening the quality and safety of care across
our organization,” said Frank Corcoran, CEO of Lane Regional Medical Center. “Her passion for
excellence, combined with decades of clinical and administrative experience, makes her the ideal
leader to guide our nursing team into the future.”

A native of Zachary, Allyson earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Southern
University and her Master of Science in Nursing Leadership and Management from Western
Governors University. She is certified in Nursing Professional Development and brings more
than 32 years of healthcare experience to her new position.

Throughout her career, Allyson has been recognized for her outstanding contributions to nursing
and education. In 2020, she was named Clinical Nurse Educator of the Year by the Louisiana
State Nurses Association; in 2013, she received the Baton Rouge District Nurses Association’s
Celebrate Nursing Award; and in 2002, she was honored as Lane’s Employee of the Year.

“I am deeply honored to continue serving Lane and our community in this new capacity,” said
Allyson Bennett. “Our nurses are the heart of this hospital, and I look forward to fostering a
culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence in patient care.”
