Dr. Field graduated from Millsaps College in Jackson, Mississippi, and received his medical degree from Tulane University Medical School in New Orleans. He completed his general surgery residency at Scott and White Memorial Hospital, Texas A&M School of Medicine in Temple, Texas.
Dr. Field is board certified in general surgery and has more than 15 years of experience, including trauma, laparoscopic gallbladder, appendix, intestinal and skin lesions.
He and his wife, Kelly, live in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, with their two children.
