An unprecedented number of blood drive cancellations during the Coronavirus pandemic has caused a severe blood shortage and an urgent need for blood donors.

The Blood Donor Center’s bus will be in front of Lane Regional Medical Center **Monday, May 18th**, and **Wednesday, May 20th**, from **9am – 5pm**.  We are asking healthy individuals to consider donating.

**We are in need of all blood types as well as Convalescent Plasma Donors.**

People who have fully recovered from COVID-19 have antibodies in their plasma that can attack the virus.  This convalescent plasma is being used as treatment for patients seriously ill with COVID-19.

If you have any questions, please contact Tara Pitcher at 225-658-4574.
