Lane Regional Medical Center Announces Key Leadership Appointments Across Compliance, Facilities, and Nursing Operations

Lane Regional Medical Center is proud to announce the addition of three accomplished professionals to its leadership team: Lisa Boston as Chief Compliance Officer & Director of Care Management, Thomas “Pokey” Anders as Director of Facilities & Security, and Margie Sevier, RN, as Director of the Medicine, Surgery, and Telemetry Units. These appointments reflect Lane’s continued commitment to excellence in healthcare delivery, patient safety, operational integrity, and clinical leadership.

 

Lisa Boston, MS, CCEP, CHC

Chief Compliance Officer & Director of Care Management

Lisa Boston brings more than 26 years of healthcare compliance and leadership experience to her new dual role at Lane. She most recently served as Corporate Compliance Officer and Vice President of Compliance Solutions at QHR Health/Ovation Healthcare in Brentwood, Tennessee, and has held previous leadership roles at Holzer Health System in Ohio as well as in private consulting.

“Lisa brings a wealth of experience and a reputation for excellence in healthcare compliance,” said Frank Corcoran, CEO of Lane Regional Medical Center. “Her leadership and insights will play a critical role in helping us maintain the highest standards of accountability and ethical care.”

Lisa holds a Master of Science in Healthcare Services Administration and is both a Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP) and certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC). She is passionate about building trust, ethical practices, and patient-focused care.

“I’m honored to be part of the team at Lane,” said Boston. “Compliance is about more than checking boxes—it’s about doing the right thing for our patients, staff, and community.”

Outside of work, Lisa enjoys reading biographies and crime stories, candle-making, watching movies, and following NBA basketball.

 

Thomas “Pokey” Anders, CHSP, CHFSP, CHEP

Director of Facilities & Security

Pokey Anders joins Lane Regional Medical Center with extensive experience in healthcare safety, emergency preparedness, and facility operations. Most recently, he served as Director of Security & Emergency Preparedness at Our Lady of the Lake Health in Baton Rouge, where he led multi-site emergency strategies and collaborated with public agencies during disasters and public health emergencies.

“Pokey brings a deep understanding of healthcare safety and emergency readiness, paired with hands-on leadership and a passion for protecting people and infrastructure,” said David Beck, Chief Operations Officer at Lane.

Pokey holds multiple certifications, including Certified Healthcare Safety Professional (CHSP), Certified Healthcare Fire Safety Professional (CHFSP), and Certified Healthcare Emergency Professional (CHEP), as well as FEMA ICS training credentials.

“I’m excited to join Lane and contribute to an organization that prioritizes safety, preparedness, and community service,” said Anders. “Facilities and security are essential to creating an environment where care can be delivered confidently and without interruption.”

In his free time, Pokey enjoys gardening, camping, hiking, and biking with his family.

 

 

 

Margie Sevier, RN

Director of Medicine, Surgery, and Telemetry Units

Margie Sevier brings over 20 years of nursing and clinical leadership experience to Lane, most recently serving as Manager of Acute Care and ICU at Baton Rouge General Medical Center. There, she was instrumental in leading multidisciplinary teams and managing complex patient care workflows. Her previous role as House Supervisor spanned more than a decade.

“Margie brings a powerful combination of clinical expertise, frontline experience, and a deep dedication to patient care,” said Staci Sullivan, MSN, APRN-BC, Chief Nursing Officer at Lane. “Her collaborative leadership and commitment to continuous improvement make her an outstanding addition to our nursing leadership team.”

Margie is a graduate of the Baton Rouge General School of Nursing and is currently pursuing her MSN at Western Governors University. She holds certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) and is training toward her Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.

“I’m honored to join the Lane team and contribute to an organization that values compassion, excellence, and innovation in patient care,” said Sevier.

Margie lives in Baton Rouge with her partner Laurie, their son Greyson, and six rescue dogs. She enjoys sewing, painting, baking, discovering new restaurants, and supporting the local arts scene.
