Lane Regional Medical Center is pleased to announce the addition of interventional cardiologist Dr. Nayan Agarwal to its medical staff. Dr. Agarwal is now seeing patients at Cardiovascular Institute of the South, 6550 Main Street, Suite 1000, in Zachary.
Dr. Agarwal attended medical school at Maulana Azad Medical College in New Delhi, India. He continued his training at the University of Florida in Gainesville, where he completed his residency in Internal Medicine as well as fellowships in both Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology.
Dr. Agarwal is board certified in internal medicine, cardiology, echocardiography and nuclear cardiology. He is trained in coronary and peripheral interventions, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, cardiac CT, cardiac pacemakers and transcatheter aortic valve replacement.
He is a member of the American College of Cardiology and the American College of Physicians.
