Lane Regional Medical Center has recently been recognized as a Gold Level Fit-Friendly Company by the American Heart Association’s initiative for promoting physical activity and health in the workplace.

This is the sixth consecutive year Lane has been chosen for this prestigious award.

“As a Gold Level Fit-Friendly Company, Lane has demonstrated a strong commitment to providing a healthy workplace for employees and promoting a wellness culture,” said Charlotte Overton, Lane Wellness Committee Chair.  “There is no better benefit to offer your employees than helping them have healthier, longer lives.”

“The American Heart Association recognizes employers who go above and beyond when it comes to their employees’ health,” said Jody Dake, Events Specialist with the Capital Area American Heart Association.

“Lane should be applauded for their progressive leadership and concern for their staff.  ”
