Lane's state of the art laboratory provides specimen collection and testing services 24 hours a day, seven days a week for both inpatients and outpatients. Testing performed inhouse at Lane include hematology, urinalysis, coagualation, chemistry, immuno-chemistry, arterial blood gases, immuno-hematology (blood banking), bacteriology, serology as well as some virology.
Specimen collection services include phlebotomy, drug screens and paternity tests. Lane also collects specimens on behalf of Laboratory Corporation of American, Quest Diagnositcs Laboratories, Clinical Pathology Laboratory, Labone and Genzyme Genetics when testing type or insurance coverage dictates.
