Lane Regional Medical Center will hold a Safe Sitter® babysitter training class on Thursday, May 31, from 8:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.  

Safe Sitter® is a high-quality program that gives young adolescents the skills to be safe, nurturing babysitters.  The program is offered to girls and boys ages 11-13.  Participants learn the fundamentals of quality child care, how to handle crises, how to nurture and guide a young child, and how to keep children safe and sound while their parents are away. 

Class size is limited and registration is required.  Cost is $20.
