Kim Armstead, ASPT, has been named Accessioning Supervisor at Lane Regional Medical Center.   

A native of Zachary and a resident of Ethel, Armstead is responsible for coordinating all aspects of daily operations for phlebotomy and laboratory assistants, monitoring competency skills, ensuring completion of weekly inventory, overseeing the referral process for outsourced lab work, as well as patient satisfaction, staffing and physician relations. 

Armstead has more than 12 years of health care experience and is a Certified Phlebotomist.  Prior to being named supervisor, she was a laboratory assistant at Lane.

Armstead and her husband, Dexter, have two children, Autumn and Christen.
