Regional Eyes Associates is proud to announce the addition of Shannon Toomey, O.D., to the medical staff. Toomey joins Baron Williamson, M.D. and Jason Allemond, O.D. in the practice and specializes in pediatric eye care, glaucoma and ocular infection/disease.

Toomey is a residency trained Optometrist and completed her Residency at Northeastern State University. She received her Optometric Degree at ICO, Illinois College of Optometry, Chicago, in 2003, where she received the College of Vision Development Award for Excellence in Vision Therapy and was elected to the prestigious Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor Society. She earned a Bachelor’s in Nutrition Science from Syracuse University in New York.

Toomey and her husband Chad Belanger reside in Zachary and have a newborn daughter, Abigail.
