5/21/2013 Lane Rehabilitation Center Names Community Relations Coordinator
 
5/15/2013 New Radiation Oncology Center on Lane’s Campus Breaks Ground
 Baton Rouge General and Lane Regional Medical Center recently broke ground on a $4.5 million state-of-the-art Radiation Oncology Center located on Lane’s campus in Zachary. Baton Rouge General’s partnership with Lane to construct the new facility is part of the two organizations shared commitment to serving the needs of the community. Construction on the new facility is expected to be completed in January 2014.
5/7/2013 Lane Wound Center & Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Dedication Ceremony for Dr. Howard Martin
 Lane Regional Medical Center will be recognizing one of its founding physicians, Dr. Howard L. Martin, with a ribbon cutting, open house, and dedication of the Dr. Howard L. Martin Medical Building on Wednesday, May 22, at 2 p.m. The public is invited to attend.

Michelle Adams Escher, RN, has been named Director of Surgical Services at Lane Regional Medical Center.

A native of Zachary, she is responsible for coordinating all aspects of nursing care for the Operating Room and Recovery Room, including patient satisfaction, staffing and physician relations.

 Lane Regional Medical Center was named "2013 Acute Care Hospital of the Year" (61-160 beds) at the 12th Annual Nightingale Awards held on February 16, 2013 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Baton Rouge. This is the first time the hospital has received this award.
